DIRECTOR of EVENT - Celeste DEMONTE
I’m a native Californian and have spent most of my life in Fresno, with an exchange year in Germany after high school and a 10-year stint in Los Angeles. I’ve always been interested in languages, and became a fervent Francophile after my husband took me to France for a “significant” birthday 15 years ago. When I returned from that trip, I began French language classes with AFF. I attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and graduated from Fresno State. My careers have included graphic design, real estate appraisal, and, most recently, technical writing. I served on the AFF board in the mid-2010s and am so pleased to serve again with this enthusiastic and committed group.
DIRECTOR of MEMBERSHIP & PUBLIC RELATION- Patience TSHIMIKA-

I am currently a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations (aka a stay home mom). Before that, I worked as a case supervisor for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), ensuring the interests of children in the foster care system were recognized by the courts. I enjoy traveling, crossfit, and eating good food.
